The course project 路 about 12 hours
Flour mill packing station PK-1: load-cell batching to 25 kg, sifter interlock and bag counting on an FBs-24MA
Design, program, test and document the control system for a flour mill's sifter and 25 kg packing station: an FBs-24MAR2-AC with an FBs-6AD reading a load-cell weighing transmitter, a coarse and a dribble gate that batch 25.00 kg with an in-flight correction that learns from the last bag, a bag clamp and discharge gate sequence with the operator's foot switch, the sifter and the bin conveyor interlocked on the packing bin's level probes, bag and tonnage counters, and a Weintek MT8071iP screen over the FATEK port. You deliver the WinProladder project, your own I/O list, calibration record and FAT record, and the operator note. The sample pack shows what a small integrator hands over for the same station.

A shareable EDWartens certificate
Finish every module and pass the final assessment, and the optional EDWartens certificate is yours. It carries a unique verification code on a public page anyone can check, so it stands up when a recruiter looks it up. See it below.
The course itself stays free whether or not you ever buy one.
Stuck? Ask a practising engineer
A free course usually means a comment section and hope. This one does not. Every module has an Ask-your-trainer panel that reaches the same engineers who teach our paid programme: people who commission panels for a living, not moderators.

Common questions
Is WinProladder free?
Yes, from FATEK, with a simulator.
Where is FATEK used?
On packaging, textile, plastics and small process machines where a low-cost PLC with good analog and communication options is wanted.
Is this a long course?
No: about four hours of video with practice, enough to program a FATEK machine and read existing programs.
Is the FATEK PLC with WinProladder course really free?
Yes. Every module, practice task and assessment. You create an account so your progress is saved and the assessments can be marked. The certificate is the only paid item, and only if you want it.
What certificate do I get, and is it a FATEK qualification?
An EDWartens Certificate of Completion, issued when you pass the final assessment, with a verification code anyone can check. It is not a FATEK credential and is never described as one.
Who made the video lessons in the FATEK PLC with WinProladder course?
The creators named in the Credits block at the foot of this page, on their own YouTube channels. EDWartens did not make the videos and the creators are not affiliated with EDWartens. What EDWartens wrote is the study plan, the notes, the practice tasks and the assessments.
Is it suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. No PLC experience is needed: the course starts with installing WinProladder and wiring NPN and PNP sensors. WinProladder is free and has a simulator, so you do not need a FATEK PLC.
