For placement officers and faculty at universities
Internships your students do inside Wartens, with the records your university files
Students work on the Industrial Automation & Robotics Internship: an industrial project with client gates and their own parameters, PLC logic tested automatically, and documents you can verify by QR code. Run by Wartens Ltd (UK) and delivered through EDWartens. Wartens, a UK industrial automation and AI engineering group.
Which level for credit
For credit, choose Pro
Core
Core Virtual Internship (self-paced, AI-assessed) 路 Engineer time: none included
Skill development; credit only if your university accepts AI-assessed work
No staff supervisor: the AI review marks the work, PLC tasks are tested automatically and the viva is an AI viva. Every document says so. Engineer verification adds a live viva with a named Wartens engineer, who co-signs the certificate, but the work itself is still unsupervised.

Pro Virtual Internship (mentored by a Wartens engineer) 路 Engineer time: about 2 hours a month
Recommended for university credit
A named Wartens engineer holds a weekly group call, signs off the requirements review, test / FAT sign-off and handover pack, conducts a live viva and writes the final evaluation (and a mid-point one from 8 weeks). The mentor signs the student's daily diary and evaluations. An experience letter if earned.

Elite Virtual Internship (team-supervised by a Wartens Team Lead) 路 Engineer time: about 5 hours a month
Fully supervised, for students who want the whole workplace
A Team Lead and a squad of up to 8, shift attendance, daily stand-ups, sprint demos and 1:1s, and every hand-in reviewed by the Team Lead. Mid and final evaluations, a live viva and an experience letter if earned.

Working with us
Faculty view and batches
A read-only faculty view
When a student adds their faculty mentor's email, the mentor gets a weekly progress email and a private, read-only link (a faculty view page, opened with a code only the mentor receives) to the intern's daily diary, verified hours, attendance or activity, evaluations, projects and documents. At every level.
Batch enquiries
Tell us your batch size, branches, level and dates and we reply with start dates and a batch quote. One-week Elite sprints are run for university batches only; the quote gives the price.
Verifiable, not just printable
Each document has a reference number and a QR code that opens its public check on edwartens.com, where anyone, including your university, can confirm it. A corrected document is marked as replaced, never deleted.
Stated openly
What we cannot do for you
- Only your university awards credit. We state verified hours and never award credit.
- Some universities require a paid internship for a required placement. A fee-based internship cannot meet a pay rule, so students at those universities can take ours as industrial training or skill development.
- Some universities and schemes accept only hosts on their own approved lists. Check your list before students book.
- Core has no staff supervisor. Its documents say they are AI-assessed and it carries no experience letter. For credit, we recommend Pro.
- Interns are not on the Wartens payroll and receive no stipend. Their projects are educational and never billed to a client.
