  • 1 to 8 weeks

Who it suits

Made for beginners.

You do not need marketing experience or to know AI. You learn the funnel first, then where an assistant helps with writing, ideas and reports, and where your own voice matters.
  • Students of management, commerce, media, design and any degree.
  • Anyone who wants to plan content and campaigns faster without sounding like a robot.
  • Read the notes on a phone, a tablet or a laptop.
A brief made of six parts: role, audience, goal, tone, length and facts to use.

What you will learn

Eight weeks, one picture each

Every week is open from day one. Each lesson takes a few minutes.
  1. A funnel with four stages: awareness, consideration, conversion and loyalty, each with a content type and a measure.

    Week 1

The marketing funnel and where AI fits

Draw the marketing funnel, match one content idea and one measure to each stage, and say where AI helps and where a person must check.

  2. A brief made of six parts: role, audience, goal, tone, length and facts to use.

    Week 2

Writing content with AI that still sounds human

Brief an assistant properly, edit its draft so it carries your facts and voice, and turn one piece into several without losing accuracy.

  3. A page is found and stored by a search engine, then shown as ranked links or quoted inside an AI answer.

    Week 3

SEO when people search with AI

Plan a web page that answers real questions clearly, for search engines and for AI answers, and check your own visibility without promising a ranking.

  4. Four steps in order: goal, audience, platform, then posts.

    Week 4

    Social media planning and creative

Set a clear social goal, plan a week of posts across platforms with a call to action, and use AI for ideas, captions and images while checking and labelling the results.

  5. Search ads appear when someone types a search; display ads appear on pages and apps while people read.

    Week 5

Ads and keyword research with AI

Explain search and display ads, use AI to find keywords and draft ad headlines, and work out CTR, CPC and conversion rate from a set of ad numbers.

  6. Four kinds of email in a sequence: welcome, nurture, offer and re-engage, each with one goal.

    Week 6

    Email and campaigns

Plan a short email sequence with one goal per email, draft it and its subject lines with AI, and keep it inside consent and unsubscribe rules.

  7. Four goals, awareness, interest, leads and sales, each paired with the number that measures it.

    Week 7

    Measuring results and AI disclosure

Work out return on ad spend and cost per lead from a campaign report, check an AI summary against the numbers, and say clearly when AI helped.

  8. A one-page plan made of seven boxes: audience, message, channels, calendar, budget, targets and AI note.

    Week 8

A campaign plan built with AI (mini project)

Write a one-page campaign plan with an audience, message, channels, calendar, budget, targets and an AI disclosure note, drafted with AI and checked by you.

An audience description leads to one promise supported by one reason to believe.

Practice, if you like

Try it on a made-up brand.

Each week ends with a worked exercise for an invented business, with a good result described. Skip them if you prefer.
  • Free tools: a free chat assistant, Canva and Google Sheets.
  • An invented brand, or your own project, never a client's private plans.
  • A mini project in week 8: a campaign plan built with AI.
  • Best on a laptop or tablet. A phone works for reading.

Questions

Quick answers

Is the AI for Digital Marketing and Content Internship really free?

Yes. Joining is free and so are all eight weeks, the weekly checks and the final quiz. You pay only if you choose an optional add-on.

How long can I take?

This internship runs for 1 to 8 weeks. You pick a start date and can change your plan later. All eight weeks are open from day one, so a short plan moves fast and a long one gives you room.

What do I need?

A laptop or phone, a free Canva account, Google Sheets and a free AI assistant account. Every tool used is free or has a free tier, so there is nothing to buy. The notes also read well on a phone.

What will I actually do?

You read short notes with diagrams, watch a few videos and take an easy check each week. Each week ends with a worked exercise, such as drafting a post and editing it into your own voice, listing keywords, planning a week of social posts or reading a small results table. Week 8 puts the pieces into one campaign plan.

What do I get at the end?

A certificate of completion is an optional paid document, issued by Wartens Ltd (UK). It has a QR code and a number, so anyone can verify it at edwartens.com/verification. The lessons stay free, and you can finish without buying anything.

Is this a paid position?

No. It is training, not employment. Nothing is paid to you, and nothing here promises work with any company.

Who wrote the course?

OFORO, the Wartens AI company, wrote the notes and exercises. OFORO builds the AI behind Wartens' engineering and training work. The internship is run by Wartens Ltd (UK) and delivered through EDWartens.

What about privacy and wrong answers?

AI can invent claims, statistics and quotes, so you check every fact before anything is published, and you say when content was made with AI where the rules or the platform ask. Never paste customer lists or confidential plans into a public chatbot: privacy law applies everywhere.
