Refunds and Cancellation

What you can buy

Only the optional EDWartens Certificate of Completion for a course you have passed. Learning is free and is never charged.

If you live in the UK or the European Union

You have the right to cancel an online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. For digital content such as a certificate, that right ends once we issue it, but only if you asked us to issue it immediately and acknowledged that you would lose the right to cancel. At checkout we ask you to confirm both, and we confirm them in your order email. If you did not, you can cancel within 14 days of your order for a full refund.

To cancel, email info@wartens.com with your order number, or use any clear statement. We refund within 14 days of your request, to the way you paid.

Everywhere

• Wrong details: if your certificate has a mistake (your name as it appears on your account, the course or the date), we correct and reissue it free.
• Faulty or not as described: if a certificate is not as described or cannot be verified because of our error, we fix it or, if we cannot, refund you in full.
• Charged twice or in error: we refund the duplicate or wrong charge in full.
• Changed your mind after it was issued: outside the UK and EU cancellation right above, we generally do not refund an issued certificate, but write to us and we will look at your case.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the consumer law of the country you live in, including India's Consumer Protection Act 2019.

How refunds are paid

• Paid in US dollars through Stripe: refunded in US dollars to the same card or account. Your bank decides the exchange rate if your account is in another currency.
• Paid in Indian rupees through Razorpay: refunded in rupees to the same method, with any GST charged reversed.

Refunds are made within 14 days of our agreeing them; your bank may take a few more days to show them.
