+-Which level should I choose?
Core if you want to learn and prove it at your own pace, for the lowest price, with no staff involved. Pro if you need the internship for university credit or want a named Wartens engineer every week. Elite if you want the full workplace: a squad, a Team Lead, daily stand-ups and every hand-in reviewed by a person. Start on Core, upgrade to Pro or Elite any time and pay only the difference.
+-Does a person check my work on Core?
No. Core has no staff. The AI mentor answers your questions, the AI review marks your logbook and every hand-in and decides your project gates, PLC tasks are tested automatically and the final viva is an AI viva. Your documents say so. If you want a person involved, add an engineer's project review (US$39), Engineer verification (US$69: a live viva with a named Wartens engineer, who co-signs your certificate) or a 1:1 (US$19), or upgrade to Pro.
+-Will my university accept it?
Your university decides, so ask your placement or internship office before you book. We give you the documents universities ask for: an offer letter, a learning agreement with objectives and a weekly plan, a daily logbook, evaluations and a completion certificate that states your verified hours, each with a QR check. We do not state credit: your university decides what credit, if any, your verified hours earn. We recommend Pro for credit, because a named Wartens engineer supervises your work and signs your diary and evaluations. Core documents state that the work was AI-assessed: some universities accept that for skill development but not for credit.
+-Can this be my university's required internship?
Possibly, but check first. Some universities require a paid internship, or a host registered with their own placement office or portal, for a required internship. A fee-based internship cannot meet a pay rule, and we cannot join your university's lists. If yours has such a rule, you can still take ours as industrial training or skill development. Ask your university in writing before you book.
+-What is the refund rule?
Full refund within 7 days of paying, if less than 25% of your plan is done and no completion document has been issued. After that, a pro-rata refund only for an Elite internship whose cohort has not started yet. Otherwise there is no refund. Add-ons already delivered are not refunded. The full terms are in the Internships section of our refund policy.
+-Can I start on Core and move up later?
Yes. Start on Core, upgrade to Pro or Elite any time and pay only the difference. You can upgrade until your internship is completed. Elite starts the day after you upgrade, with your squad's shift. On a 4-week plan, Core to Pro costs US$119 and Pro to Elite US$239. Your work so far carries over.
+-Is it online? Do I work on real equipment?
Fully online, on simulators: LADX Mini in your browser, plus CODESYS, OpenPLC, FUXA and other tools. You do not need to travel. The AI mentor will not give instructions for live plant, and no real hardware is part of the internship.
+-How many hours is it?
Full time is about 8 hours a day and part time about 4. On Core you choose your hours, and the portal counts verified work, not time with a page open. Under 60 verified hours the documents call it industrial training and you receive an Industrial Training Certificate; from 60 hours you receive the internship documents. On Pro and Elite a Letter of Recommendation becomes possible from 120 hours, on merit only.
+-Can I fail?
Yes, and that is what makes the documents worth having. At every level you must pass your mandatory industrial project (60 out of 100), pass every PLC task's tests and reach a final score of at least 50 out of 100. Core also needs 60% of the planned hours as verified work and the AI viva; Pro needs 70%, the final evaluation and the live viva; Elite needs at least 80% attendance (90% if your university asks), the evaluations and the viva. If you fall short, your documents say only what you completed.
+-What if I can't finish by the planned end date?
Core and Pro have a finish-by date after the planned end: on a 4-week plan, 2 grace weeks on Core and 1 on Pro. On Core you can buy more time a week at a time (US$13.99 a week). Elite runs to your cohort's calendar. Pro and Elite include one free pause of up to 2 weeks, for exams or illness.
+-Can I buy the experience letter or a recommendation?
No. The experience letter comes with Pro and Elite, issued only if you earn it, and never for Core work, because nobody supervised it: upgrade to Pro if you need one. A Letter of Recommendation is written by your mentor or Team Lead, only when your work earns it, and is never sold.
+-How can AI marking be trusted?
Your brief has your own parameters, so a copied answer fails. PLC tasks are tested by what the program does, not by comparison with a model answer. The viva asks about your own project and your own work. And every document states how the work was assessed, so nobody reading it is misled.
+-Which internships are open?
One: the Industrial Automation & Robotics internship. More tracks will follow once it has run end to end.
+-Is this paid work? Is there a stipend?
No to both. You are an intern on a structured training programme run by Wartens Ltd. You do not join the Wartens payroll, no stipend is paid, and every document says the internship was not employment. Your projects are educational, built from Wartens practice, and never billed to a client.
+-Who is Wartens?

Its businesses include Wartens automation and robotics integration, iUNI (AI, simulation and AR), Oscabe (recruitment), roboTED (robot subscription), Wemelt / Nomelt (3D printing) and the EDWartens training platforms.
