Certificate Verification

Confirm that an EDWartens certificate is genuine and currently valid. Records are checked live against our student records system.

Type the number and the holder's full name exactly as printed. We ask for both to protect our learners' privacy. The number can be a registration number (AEP08WI01), a certificate ID (EDW-G-2026-00412 or EDW-IN-2026-00412), an internship number (WL-INT-2026-00042), an internship document number (WL/INT/EXP/2026/00001) or a programme paper number (WAPL/AEP/OFR/AEP03WI04). Earlier internship numbers start with WAPL instead of WL. A link from a QR code that already holds its own key opens without a name.

How certificate verification works

For employers. Every certificate carries a certificate ID (online courses, like EDW-IN-2026-00412) or the holder's registration number (classroom programmes) at the top, and a QR code that links directly to this verification page. Scan the QR code, or enter the certificate ID or registration number above together with the holder's full name. The name is asked for because a number on its own would let anyone step through our records; with the name, the check confirms only the person you are already asking about. A successful check returns the holder's name, programme, certificate type and issue date, along with its current status.

For students. If you no longer have your certificate, search by your full name and programme instead. Your name must be entered exactly as printed on the certificate. A certificate ID in the format EDW-IN-YYYY-NNNNN or EDW-G-YYYY-NNNNN works in the same box, on its own.

Wartens internships. An internship number (WL-INT-2026-00042) or an internship document number (WL/INT/EXP/2026/00001) also works in the same box, on its own. Numbers from before October 2026 start with WAPL instead of WL. If you have lost the number, choose By Name & Course and pick your internship.

Wartens certificates issued before 2026. Certificates issued by Wartens UK and Wartens India, once checked on wartens.com, are verified here. Choose By Name & Course, enter the full name as printed and pick the course under “Wartens certificates”. The old wartens.com certificate link still works and opens the record directly.

Certificate status. A certificate shows as Verified when it is genuine and active, Expired when it was genuinely issued but has passed its expiry date, and Not Valid if it has been revoked.

Online course certificates are issued by Wartens Ltd (registered in England and Wales, company no. 15262249, 8 Lyon Road, Milton Keynes MK1 1EX) through the EDWartens training portal.
