AI for Teachers: Lesson Plans, Quizzes, Feedback and Classroom Policy
Use AI in your teaching, safely: plan lessons with structured prompts, make quizzes, flashcards and rubrics, draft feedback you then own, run an AI tutor that asks rather than tells, ground AI in your own sources, differentiate for every reader, and write a classroom AI policy that fits data-protection law.

The course project 路 about 10 hours
An AI policy and one-term pilot for a CBSE school: acceptable use policy, risk register, pilot plan, staff training record and pilot review
Write the AI policy for a school and run a one-term pilot as the teacher leading it: the acceptable use policy for staff and students, a risk register covering children's data, integrity and quality, a pilot plan with measures, the record of staff training, and a review of the pilot with a recommendation. The sample pack shows each document for a CBSE-curriculum day school in Dubai. No real student data is used at any point.

A shareable EDWartens certificate
Finish every module and pass the final assessment, and the optional EDWartens certificate is yours. It carries a unique verification code on a public page anyone can check, so it stands up when a recruiter looks it up. See it below.
The course itself stays free whether or not you ever buy one.
Stuck? Ask a practising engineer
A free course usually means a comment section and hope. This one does not. Every module has an Ask-your-trainer panel that reaches the same engineers who teach our paid programme: people who commission panels for a living, not moderators.

Common questions
Who is the AI for Teachers course for?
School teachers, college faculty, heads of department and school leaders. No technical background is needed.
Which AI tools do I need?
A free account on Gemini, Copilot or ChatGPT is enough. Khanmigo's teacher tools are optional; check whether they are offered free where you teach. If your school provides Google or Microsoft education accounts, use those for anything involving your classes.
Can I use my students' work in the exercises?
Only with names, roll numbers, marks and any identifying details removed, and preferably in your school's approved tools. The course teaches you never to put student data into a personal AI account.
Does the course cover the law on children's data?
Yes. It explains what India's DPDP Act 2023 and the DPDP Rules 2025 say about children's personal data, and mentions GDPR, FERPA and COPPA for schools that fall under them. It is not legal advice; follow your school's and board's policies.
Is the AI for Teachers course really free?
Yes. Every module, the notes, the project and the final assessment. The only paid item is the certificate, if you want it.
What certificate does the AI for Teachers course give?
An EDWartens Certificate of Completion, issued when you pass the final assessment, with a number anyone can verify on our site. It is not a Google, Microsoft or Khan Academy certification, and not a teaching qualification.
How long does the AI for Teachers course take?
About 6.8 hours of video lessons, notes and practice questions, plus around 10 hours if you do the project. You can fit it around a teaching week at your own pace.
What is the project in the AI for Teachers course?
You lead the AI policy and a one-term pilot for a CBSE-curriculum school in Dubai: an acceptable use policy, a risk register, a pilot plan, a staff training record and a pilot review. A worked sample pack shows each document, and no real student data is used.
