A shareable EDWartens certificate

Finish every module and pass the final assessment, and the optional EDWartens certificate is yours. It carries a unique verification code on a public page anyone can check, so it stands up when a recruiter looks it up. See it below.

The course itself stays free whether or not you ever buy one.

Stuck? Ask a practising engineer

A free course usually means a comment section and hope. This one does not. Every module has an Ask-your-trainer panel that reaches the same engineers who teach our paid programme: people who commission panels for a living, not moderators.

Common questions

Who is the ISO 9001:2026 Quality Management and Internal Auditing course for?

QA and QC engineers, supplier-quality and production engineers, quality coordinators, students and anyone asked to become an internal auditor. No auditing experience is needed.

Does it cover the new ISO 9001:2026?

Yes. ISO 9001:2026 was published on 16 September 2026, and organisations certified to the 2015 edition have until 30 September 2029 to transition. A full module covers the changes, and every clause module points out what 2026 changed. Some video lessons were recorded for the 2015 edition and are used only where the content did not change; each module says so.

Is this a certified internal auditor or lead auditor course?

No. It is preparation. It is not an IRCA- or Exemplar Global-certified auditor course, and it does not give you an auditor qualification. It teaches the knowledge those courses examine and lets you practise auditing, so you can audit inside your own organisation or move on to a certified course with a head start.

Do I need to buy the ISO 9001 standard?

Not to take the course. The notes explain the intent of every clause in plain words. The text of ISO 9001 is copyright ISO, so the course does not reproduce it; if you will work with the standard, buy it from ISO or your national standards body.

Is the ISO 9001:2026 Quality Management and Internal Auditing course really free?

Yes. Every module, the notes, the project and the final assessment. The only paid item is the certificate, if you want it.

What certificate does the ISO 9001:2026 Quality Management and Internal Auditing course give?

An EDWartens Certificate of Completion, issued when you pass the final assessment, with a number anyone can verify on our site. It is not an ISO, IRCA or Exemplar Global certificate, and EDWartens is not affiliated with ISO or any certification body.

How long does the ISO 9001:2026 Quality Management and Internal Auditing course take?

About 15 hours of video lessons, notes and practice, taken at your own pace; the videos alone are about 9 hours. The optional project takes about 10 hours more.

What is the project in the ISO 9001:2026 Quality Management and Internal Auditing course?

A mock internal audit of a valve plant preparing for its ISO 9001:2026 transition: you build the audit programme, write the plan and a process-based checklist, log the evidence, write and grade the nonconformities, report, and verify the corrective actions. A complete sample pack shows each document.
