What is a certificate pass?

The short answer

A pass is one payment that covers every certificate you earn while it lasts, for 30 days or a year, up to a fair-use limit of 10 in any 30 days. It does not renew.

A certificate pass suits you if you plan to finish several courses.

There are two, both one-off payments:

  • 30-day certificate pass: every certificate you earn in the next 30 days is included.
  • Annual certificate pass: every certificate you earn in the next 365 days is included.

What to know:

  • It covers certificates for the free courses, up to a fair-use limit of 10 certificates in any 30 days.
  • It does not renew. Nothing more is ever charged.
  • You still have to finish each course and pass its final: a pass pays for the certificate, not the result.
  • A pass bought while another is running starts when the first one ends.

The prices are shown before you pay. To buy one, open Certificates in your portal and go to Certificate passes, or see how certificates work.

If you only want one or two certificates, the discount on your next two may suit you better.
