You can add it to your cart early. It is kept for later, and you pay once you have finished the course and passed the final.
Yes, you can add it early, but you do not pay yet. It is kept for later in your cart, marked with how many modules you have left. Once you have completed every module and passed the final, check out and it is issued straight away.
This way you never pay for a certificate you have not yet earned.
