The short answer
The final opens once every module in the course is complete. The screen says how many you have done. Finish the rest, or tick the ones you already know, and it opens.
Why is it closed?
Is every module marked done?
No
Finish or mark the rest as done, then try again.
Yes
Refresh the page. Still closed? Contact us.
The final stays closed until you have completed every module. The screen says, for example, "Finish the course first, 6 of 8 modules complete."
- Open your course and look for the modules that are not marked done.
- Watch the lessons in them. A module is done when you have watched all its lessons (to 90% or the end).
- Already know a topic? Choose Mark as done on that module. See How does a module count as complete?.
- When the last module is done, go back to Final assessment and it opens.
Modules can be done in any order, so nothing else is holding the final back.
If every module shows done and the final is still closed, refresh the page. If it stays closed, tell us the course name.
