The short answer
Choose the track closest to the work you want to do. There are engineering tracks (such as PLC, panels and SCADA) and AI tracks (such as machine learning and data science). You pick one when you start.
Which side suits you?
Do you want to work with machines and electrical systems?
Yes
Choose an engineering track such as PLC Programming.
No, I prefer data and software
Choose an AI track such as Data Science.
A track is the subject of your internship. Every track has the same shape: weekly lessons, tasks, checks and lab practice. Only the subject changes.
Engineering tracks
- PLC Programming
- Control Panel Design and Wiring
- Commissioning and Maintenance
- Instrumentation and Process Control
- SCADA and HMI
- Electrical Design
AI tracks
- AI and Machine Learning
- Data Science and Analytics
- Generative AI and Prompt Engineering
- AI Agents and Automation
- Computer Vision
- AI for Finance, HR, Marketing, Healthcare and Project Management
How to choose
- New to automation? PLC Programming is the usual first step.
- Want wiring and drawings? Choose Control Panel or Electrical Design.
- Work with data or software already? Look at the AI tracks.
- Not sure? Open a track page, read what you will do each week, and try the matching 3D lab first. It is free.
You pick one track for each internship. You can start another internship for a different track later.

- What is the 3D Lab and is it free? The 3D Lab is a set of engineering labs that run in your browser: wire a panel, write PLC logic, teach a robot, tune a loop and more. Opening a lab, doing the levels and passing the test are free.
- Should I choose a Free or a Premium internship?Free is a whole 4-week internship with every task, the 3D lab, the AI mentor and a free certificate of completion. Premium adds people and proof: mentor calls, an engineer's review, the graded certificate, letters and longer lengths.
- What do I do each day in an internship? You work at your own pace through weekly lessons and practice tasks, use the 3D lab, ask the AI mentor when you are stuck, and pass a short check each week. Nothing runs to a fixed clock.
- How do the weekly checks and final quiz work? Each week ends with a short check that passes at 40%. You can retry as often as you like and your best attempt counts. A final quiz with the same pass mark finishes the internship.
- How do I get my internship certificate?Finish your work and you are issued a certificate: the free certificate of completion for the first 4 weeks, or the graded Internship Certificate on Premium. Both carry a QR code anyone can verify.
