Free and Premium internships, weeks, tasks, certificates
- Should I choose a Free or a Premium internship?Free is a whole 4-week internship with every task, the 3D lab, the AI mentor and a free certificate of completion. Premium adds people and proof: mentor calls, an engineer's review, the graded certificate, letters and longer lengths.
- How do I start an internship?Pick a track on the Internships page, choose a start date, accept the terms and press Start my free internship. You need a free account, and no card is taken for the Free edition.
- Which internship track should I choose?Choose the track closest to the work you want to do. There are engineering tracks (such as PLC, panels and SCADA) and AI tracks (such as machine learning and data science). You pick one when you start.
- What do I do each day in an internship?You work at your own pace through weekly lessons and practice tasks, use the 3D lab, ask the AI mentor when you are stuck, and pass a short check each week. Nothing runs to a fixed clock.
- How do the weekly checks and final quiz work?Each week ends with a short check that passes at 40%. You can retry as often as you like and your best attempt counts. A final quiz with the same pass mark finishes the internship.
- How do I get my internship certificate?Finish your work and you are issued a certificate: the free certificate of completion for the first 4 weeks, or the graded Internship Certificate on Premium. Both carry a QR code anyone can verify.
- Can I upgrade my Free internship to Premium?Yes, at any time. Choose your length on the Premium page and pay once; what you have already done carries over, and any amount you paid before in the same currency is credited.
- How do I get my internship letters and reports?Premium internships include a joining letter, an evaluation report, a project report and, on merit, a letter of appreciation. They appear under Documents when each is issued. Free has the certificate of completion.
- How do I book a mentor call or ask the AI mentor?Ask the AI mentor any time from your internship. On Premium you can also book a 30-minute video call with a Wartens engineer, at least 24 hours ahead.
- Can I pause my internship or take leave?The internship is self-paced, so there is no leave to ask for. Do your work when you can. On Premium you can choose a longer length now or extend later if you need more time.
- Is the internship paid work or a job?No. It is online training. There is no stipend, it is not employment, and we cannot promise a job or placement. You build skills and get a verifiable record of what you did.
