Jobs, careers and job simulations
Job board, resume, portfolio, job simulations
- How does the EDWartens job board work? The job board lists openings in PLC, SCADA, controls, electrical, energy, robotics and AI, read from employers' own career sites and job feeds. You apply on the employer's page. We are not a recruitment agency.
- How do I apply to a job?Open the job and press Apply. A job from a feed sends you to the employer's own site. A job an employer posted on EDWartens is applied for here, and the page says exactly what is shared first.
- How do I set up job alerts?Turn on Job alerts under Career, Jobs. Choose how often (once a week or every day) and which countries. They are off until you switch them on, and you can stop them at any time.
- How do I build a resume, skill passport and portfolio?Open Career in your student menu. The Resume tab builds a resume from templates, the Skills tab shows your skill passport from passed results, and the Portfolio tab makes a page you can share.
- How do I publish my portfolio page?On the Portfolio tab, choose a theme and a page address, then tick that you are 18 or over and agree to a public page, and press Publish my page. Press Unpublish now to take it down at any time.
- What are job simulations and are they free?A job simulation is a realistic training project at a simulated company, day by day, with real-style documents. Days 1 to 5 are free. The certificate and the longer Premium edition are optional.
- How do I get a job simulation certificate, and can I get a refund?Finish the work, score 60 or more and you can buy the optional certificate, which is graded and verifiable by QR code. What you pay for it is credited if you upgrade to Premium. Refunds are handled by our team.
