The notes in your browser
The free courses are taught in English: the video lessons, the written notes, the practice tasks and the final assessment. There is no setting to change the course language yet.
What you can do today:
- Translate the notes in your browser. In Chrome, right-click the notes and choose Translate to your language (Edge and Safari have the same option). The page keeps working while it is translated.
- Turn on captions in the video player if the video has them, and slow the video down from the player's settings.
- Take the final assessment in English. Its questions follow the course notes, so reading the notes in your language first, then again in English, helps.
You can also ask the AI tutor in a lesson to explain a step in simpler words; see Asking the AI tutor.
We read every request, and more languages are something learners ask for. If you need a course in another language, tell us through contact a person: it helps us decide what to build next.

- What software do I need? Each course page lists its software and hardware. It is usually the maker's free or trial version with a simulator, and you never need real hardware. Some courses start with no software at all.
- A video will not playIf the player keeps loading, your network is probably blocking YouTube: try another network or your phone's data. If the player shows an error, use Open it on YouTube.
- Can I ask an AI tutor about a course?Yes. In a free course, press Ask AI to ask EDWartens AI about the module you have open. It explains ideas and gives examples, but never gives assessment answers. You can ask up to 40 questions a day.
- How do I enrol on a course? On the course page choose Enrol now, free, then Place order, free at checkout. Nothing is paid, you get a receipt, and the course appears in your portal under Courses.
- How does a module count as complete?Watch every lesson in the module to 90% or the end, or tick it yourself: Lesson done for one lesson, Mark done for the whole module. Modules are not locked.
- Does my progress save?Yes. While you watch, your progress saves to your account every 30 seconds, and module completion is saved straight away, so it follows you to any device where you sign in.
