Proof you can do the work
How this internship shows it
Four tasks passed in a PLC simulator, with the program, the I/O list and the test results. Not just a course name.

The right words for the role
How this internship shows it
I/O list, seal-in, interlock, star-delta, scan cycle, counter. The words a controls lead uses on day one.
Recruiters look for
Documents a lead would sign
How this internship shows it
An I/O list (WRT-IO-101), a start and stop program with its tag list (WRT-LD-102) and an interlock table (WRT-LD-103), each with a document number.
Recruiters look for
A record they can check
How this internship shows it
Your internship record has its own verification page and a portfolio link. A recruiter can open it and see what you did. You choose whether to share it.
We make no promise about hiring. It is a training programme, and a recruiter decides for themselves. Career offices at universities tell students to list programmes like this under projects, training or certifications, and to be clear that they were simulated (for example University of Arizona Career Services, 2025). We write your lines that way.

Questions
Quick answers
Is this a scam? Will you ask for money later?
No. A Free internship costs nothing: no card, no fees, nothing to buy, and no paywall in the middle. Wartens Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 15262249, Milton Keynes. You pay only at our own checkout, and only if you choose Premium.
What does the Free internship include?
Four weeks of real tasks with weekly checks and a short final quiz, practice in the 3D lab, the AI mentor, and a free certificate of completion with a QR code anyone can scan to verify it. You finish with the certificate, not with an offer to buy more.
What does Premium add?
The same internship with people and proof: live mentor calls, an engineer's written review of your project, the graded Internship Certificate, a joining letter, evaluation and project reports, a letter of appreciation on merit, and any length up to 24 months. In India you can add a stamped or framed hard copy as an extra.
Can I move from Free to Premium later?
Yes, any time during your internship or within 30 days after it. Everything you have done carries over, and anything you already paid for this internship is taken off the price. You can also extend a Premium internship later and pay only the difference.
Can I get a refund?
A Free internship costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund. Premium opens as soon as you pay, so read the refund terms at edwartens.com/refund before you choose.
Is the certificate worth anything?
We do not claim that any employer must accept it. The free certificate of completion shows you finished the four weeks, and anyone can check it online with its number. The graded Internship Certificate in Premium shows your grade for the whole internship. What carries weight is the finished work behind it. Credit at a college is the college's decision.
Can I do it on my phone?
You can read the lessons, take the weekly checks and do the final quiz on a phone. The labs and notebooks work best on a laptop or tablet.
Is it employment?
No. These are online training internships. You work on a simulated project for a fictional client with simulated colleagues, and there is no stipend. We are not a recruitment agency. The openings listed on the site are third-party listings, free to see and free to apply to, and never tied to buying anything.
Which internship should I pick?
Pick PLC Programming to learn ladder logic and how machines are controlled. Pick Control Panel Design and Wiring to learn how a panel is drawn, wired, tested and handed over. Pick Commissioning and Maintenance to learn safe checks before power, fault-finding and upkeep. Pick Instrumentation and Process Control to learn measurement, calibration and control loops. Pick SCADA and HMI to learn tags, screens, alarms and trends. Pick Electrical Design to learn diagrams, load schedules and cable sizing. Pick one of the AI internships to learn AI for your own field: machine learning, data science, generative AI, AI agents, computer vision, or AI for finance, HR, marketing, healthcare or project management. You can start any of them free.
Do I need to know the subject already?
No. Each internship starts from the very first idea. Each lesson is short and has a picture. For the panel, commissioning and instrumentation ones, basic electrical knowledge helps. The AI internships also start from the first idea.
How do others check my certificate?
Every document has a QR code and a number. Anyone can check it on edwartens.com/verification.
How long can I take?
Up to 24 months for the engineering and automation internships and for the AI internships. The Free internship is 4 weeks. You pick a start date, and Premium lets you choose a longer length.
Do you pay a stipend?
No. These are training internships, not employment, so there is no stipend. The Free internship costs nothing, and you pay only if you choose Premium.
Can I join from outside India?
Yes. The internships are online and open to every country. Premium is priced in your currency and shown before you pay.
Will my college accept it?
Credit is your university's decision, and we do not claim approval from any board or council. The verifiable documents and the page for colleges help your department check what you did.
Is there an application or an interview?
No. Sign up free, choose a start date and a length, and start. There is no interview and nothing to wait for.
