Are there free virtual internships for engineering students?
Yes. EDWartens runs free online internships in engineering and AI. Each Free internship is the first 4 weeks of an 8-week plan, ends with a free Internship Completion Certificate, needs no card and no hardware. A paid Premium edition is optional.
Is it a real job or paid?
No. It is training, not employment, and no stipend is paid. The company and team in the tasks are simulated. It gives you structured practice and a certificate you can show.
Is it approved by AICTE or my university?
We make no claim of AICTE or university approval. Whether your college accepts it for credit or as an internship report is the college's decision, so ask first. The AICTE internship portal is a separate government service.
